With growing concerns over the supply of gas and electricity, amidst fears over climate change, millions of people in Britain and throughout the world are increasingly turning to renewable energy as their major source of power.

The Isle of Wight has, over the last decade, shown determination to act and become a global inspiration for clean, healthy, eco living.  To help the Island reach such a high status, Infinergy would be proud to work in partnership with the people of the Island to help deliver the ambitious targets by locally-farming renewable energy supplies to the county.

Britain stands as one of the windiest countries in all of Europe, the Isle of Wight is no exception. Just like the yachts of generations past and present have harnessed the winds around the island, Infinergy aim to use the same resource to generate clean electricity for the Island.

At present, surveys for the Environmental Impact Assessment are undertaken. If successful, the wind farm could supply dependable local energy for up to 6,400 households annually.
